My passion for animals began at an early age, nurtured through caring for small pets and growing with hands-on experience in areas like horse care, dog walking, lambing, and greyhound rescue work. Since 2011, I’ve dedicated my career to animal care—both in practice and in education.

I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2016, graduating with a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Science degree and receiving the class medal for academic excellence. Prior to that, I was proud to be named Top Student in my Animal Care HNC, graduating with an A grade.

With over twelve years of experience in veterinary practice and teaching veterinary nursing, I’ve developed specialist expertise in animal nutrition. I’ve created and delivered nutrition courses and regularly developed tailored dietary plans for pets requiring weight loss, management of clinical conditions, and critical care support whilst working in a number of veterinary practices.

PGCert (Animal Nutrition) = Postgraduate certificate in animal nutrition Raw Nutrition Consultant (Natures Menu) – completed modules and exam

My personal commitment to animal wellbeing extends beyond my professional work. I’ve spent years researching and feeding a wide variety of diets to my own pets—including carnivores, omnivores, and herbivores—ranging from raw and homemade meals to commercial diets.

I’m listed as a Raw Feeding Consultant on the stockist locator for Natures Menu, offering expert guidance on raw feeding. With a professional understanding of raw nutrition, I’m able to answer detailed questions and provide informed advice. I help my customers choose the most appropriate raw feeding options to support their pet’s health and wellbeing. I am also in contact with a number of other commercial food companies, where I access courses to keep my knowledge up to date.

Most recently, I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Animal Nutrition, deepening my understanding of comparative anatomy and physiology, metabolism, biochemistry, and the vital role of nutritional components in animal health.
